Invisalign™ uses a series of clear removable aligners, worn over an extended
period of time to gradually fix orthodontic problems. Unlike braces, these clear
aligners are removable allowing patients to maintain a proper hygiene and

An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. At regular intervals,
patients receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the
straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to each
patient and determined by the doctor for the course of treatment.
